Pick up from the hotel and we begin our service visiting Barranco, one of the small and the same time Bohemian districts. We appreciate the Plaza, Bridge of Sighs, Chabuca Granda Monument, La Ermita and Bajada de Baños. Next we will pass through Chorrillos, the name of this district was made in allusion to the streams of fresh underground water that flowed from the cliffs towards the side of Agua Dulce beach, and because it is a fishing village; for which it was officially called San Pedro de los Chorrillos. For more that one thousand two hundred years, during the pre-Hispanic period, Pachacamac was the most important Sanctuary on the coast. Its prestige is mainly due to its oracle, which was consulted by curacas and principal lords who came from all over ancient Peru on long pilgrimages that were part of a great Andean ritual. The God Pachacamac was greatly feared because he was credited with the power to make the earth tremble. The temples built in its sanctuary demonstrate the importance it had for a long time.

Palomino Islands

09:00 Hrs. Pick up from the hotel and start the tour. We embark in Callao and set sail towards the Palomino Islands. During the trip we pass through the “El Camotal” lowland, open sea. We pass by San Lorenzo Island, with rich stories dating back to pre-Columbian times. We see fishing boats, various colonies of guano birds and Humboldt penguins. We reach the furthest point, Palomino Island, which is home to a large colony of sea lions, where we can swim freely among them in wetsuits, thanks to the absence of predators. It is an unforgettable moment full of emotions. We return through cliffs and islets of impressive shapes. A snack is served before arriving to the boat.
